Boost your overall guitar skills by playing chord progressions without shifting positions!

While shifting a single chord shape horizontally is convenient, it often leads to repetitive playing and creative ruts. Furthermore, memorizing dozens of isolated shapes at random is difficult and rarely sticks.

The ‘Micro-Movement Chord Change’ exercise solves this by restricting your hand to a 4–6 fret range, forcing you to use diverse voicings within one position. This naturally expands your chord vocabulary and, when practiced as arpeggios, helps you internalize the chord tones essential for melodic improvisation.
